We process every month. We price on packaged weight. We cover all processing costs. No surprises.
Why Anavery for bulk meat
We price on packaged weight — the actual meat in your freezer — not on hanging weight. Many farms charge on hanging weight, which means you pay for water loss, trimming, and bones you don't keep. We cover all processing costs. The price we quote is the price you pay.
We process animals every month of the year. Most small farms process seasonally — meaning you reserve in spring and wait until fall. With us, your order is typically available immediately or within 2–3 weeks. No months-long wait.
We work with you to cut your animal however you prefer — more ground, thicker steaks, specific roast sizes. Not sure what you want? We'll advise you on our favorite mix of cuts. Every order is tailored to how your household actually cooks.
Which program is right for you?
All three programs are raised without growth hormones or antibiotics. The difference is feeding method, fat content, and flavor profile. Not sure? Our farm store staff can help.
Place a deposit online or in person at our farm store. We'll confirm your timing and walk you through cut preferences — or you can leave the cutting decisions to us.
Your animal is processed at a regulated facility, cut to your specifications, vacuum sealed, and labeled with cut name, weight, and processing date. Ready in 2–3 weeks in most cases.
Pick up at our farm store on Secor Road. Your meat arrives clearly labeled, vacuum sealed, and organized for the freezer. Beef keeps 12+ months. Pork and lamb, 9–12 months.

Understanding the three weights
1
Live weight
2
Hanging weight
3
Packaged weight
Actual yields vary slightly depending on the animal and your cutting preferences.
How much freezer space do you need?
A good rule of thumb: 1 cubic foot per 30–40 lb of meat.
How long will it keep?
Vacuum sealed and properly frozen, our meat keeps well beyond a typical household’s consumption rate.
Each package is vacuum sealed and labeled with cut name, weight, and processing date for easy freezer organization.
